About this file
This document is an addendum to a state and local contract opportunity for the Boiler Replacement for Fair Plain East Elementary and Benton Harbor High School in Berrien County, Michigan. The project is being led by the Benton Harbor Area Schools and administered by the engineering firm C2AE. The addendum provides updates and revisions to the project specifications, drawings, and appendices, including the addition of new sections for a gas-engine-driven generator set and transfer switch. Key changes include the addition of a new standby generator and automatic transfer switch at the high school, as well as revisions to the mechanical and electrical plans for both school locations.
The contract opportunity requires the furnishing and installation of the new boiler, generator, and transfer switch equipment. Pricing terms, funding sources, and other contractual details are not explicitly provided in this addendum document. However, the overall project appears to be proceeding with the bidding and procurement process, with the addendum issued to provide updated information to prospective contractors.
