About this file

This is an Informal Request for Quote (IRFQ) 24/25-311 issued by the City of Sanford Finance Department's Purchasing Division for an Odor Control Exhaust Fan. The solicitation seeks a vendor to design, fabricate, and furnish an exhaust fan for a wastewater processing plant environment, specifically an ATAD Odor Control Exhaust Fan with detailed technical specifications. The project requires delivery to the North Water Reclamation Facility located at 1201 W Seminole Blvd in Sanford, FL, with a response deadline of July 28, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. local time. The project completion timeline is set at 12 weeks from the purchase order issuance, with the successful bidder responsible for fabrication, quality control, and delivery of the unit.

The exhaust fan specifications are highly detailed, including a Baldor vendor model with specific performance parameters such as a volume flow rate of 10,000 ctin, a 22.295 hp motor, and operating voltage of 460V. The fan is to be constructed of 304 stainless steel with specific requirements for wheel design, shaft seal, and additional features like extended lube lines and a weather cover. The City will provide a designated set-up area and access to the work area, while the bidder is responsible for all labor, materials, permits, equipment, and transportation necessary to complete the project. No pricing information is explicitly stated in the document, and the solicitation appears to be seeking a comprehensive solution for replacing an existing exhaust fan at the water reclamation facility.
