About this file
This document is a Notice of Intent to Award from the City of Sanford's Purchasing Division for Invitation for Request of Quotation (IFRQ) 24/25-311, which pertains to an Odor Control Exhaust Fan. The City of Sanford intends to award the solicitation to Midair Industrial on August 19, 2025. The notice emphasizes that this intent does not constitute a final agreement and that the award is subject to departmental approval and successful negotiation of terms.
The document outlines the City's reserved rights in the procurement process, including the ability to revoke the award, proceed to the next lowest responsive and responsible bidder, reject all bids, cancel the solicitation, or re-solicit at a later time. While specific pricing details are not provided, the notice indicates that no legal or equitable rights are acquired by the bidder until a final agreement with acceptable terms is executed by the City. The procurement is being managed by Marisol Ordoñez, the Purchasing Manager, and interested parties are encouraged to submit future proposals.
