About this file
This is a Scope of Work or Purchase Description document for a County procurement of an air compressor system installation project. The County seeks a vendor-furnished and installed compressor system with all labor, tools, rigging, and incidental materials required for mechanical assembly, connection to existing compressed air distribution infrastructure, and condensate drain line installation. The installation must be completed by August 17, 2026, and the project includes factory-authorized startup and commissioning with documentation submitted within five business days of completion. Vendor responsibilities encompass delivery via lift-gate equipped truck with offloading and staging at the installation site, operator and maintenance training of minimum two hours duration conducted by the vendor's factory-authorized technician, and provision of operation and maintenance manuals. The vendor must ensure all components and sub-assemblies can pass through a 46-inch wide doorframe without structural building modification and must coordinate delivery access with the County at least five business days in advance.
The pricing structure requires vendors to submit a total all-inclusive cost for the system, installation, training, and warranty as a single line item. The vendor is responsible for all required permits, licenses, and calibration certificates at vendor expense. The package includes a 24-month warranty on the compressor pump and a 12-month warranty covering parts and labor on the entire system, with an optional extended warranty coverage available on an annual basis for years one through five. The County is responsible for completing electrical rough-in (conduit, disconnect switch, and branch circuit wiring), providing a level reinforced concrete floor adequate for unit weight, and completing compressed air distribution piping beyond the system outlet connection point prior to startup and commissioning.
