Questions and Answers to Request for Clarification for Solicitation 70Z08521QP4533000 Amendment P0006 USCGC Frank Drew

QUESTION: Paragraph 3.1.2.1 requires the contractor to supply 300 feet of 2XSOW-3 and 220 feet of 2XSOW-7 electrical cable. Several sources of supply have indicated that the 2XSOW-3 has a 12 month lead time, and the 2XSOW-7 has a lead time of August – September 2021. Can the government supply this cable as GFM or provide a suggested source of supply?

ANSWER: Government will not provide cable as GFM. There are various potential suppliers of this type of cable, including, but not limited to, Jo-Kell and Allied Wire & Cable. This is not a recommendation of vendor in any capacity.
