About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers attachment to RFQ 70US0926Q70092875 for Protective Equipment Fleet Maintenance services. The Q&A addresses three clarifications regarding the scope of work and service requirements.
The solicitation consolidates historically fragmented purchase card transactions into a single fleet maintenance contract covering 33 vehicles requiring preventative maintenance services. The key clarifications provided establish that: (1) this represents a new consolidation effort with no incumbent contractor, as services were previously sourced through individual purchase cards; (2) the quantity of 33 denotes the number of vehicles in the fleet requiring preventative maintenance, with the frequency of PM services per vehicle annually to be determined by Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) intervals (such as every three months); and (3) fluid changes are not mandatory at every PM service visit but are required only during OEM-specified maintenance intervals. These answers provide essential guidance for contractors preparing proposals to ensure accurate pricing and service delivery aligned with the customer's maintenance requirements.

RFQ 70US0926Q70092875 // Protective Equipment Fleet Maintenance
# RFQ Reference Question Answer 1 General Is there any incumbent or is this a brand-new project?
If yes, please provide the award number or if the customer bought similar services in the past.
These services were historically sourced through purchase cards. This is a new effort to consolidate those individual purchases.
2 Section II:
Planned Award Line Item Structure;
Does the quantity of 33 represent one preventive-maintenance service per vehicle annually?
Quantity 33 represents the number of vehicles in the fleet that require preventative maintenance (PM). The number of PM services per vehicle per year should be determined by OEM intervals (e.g. every 3 months).
3 SOW Section
