7-Schools with CTE Sewing Rooms.pdf

This document is a list of schools within the Alpine School District in Utah that have Career and Technical Education (CTE) sewing rooms, submitted in support of an RFP for sewing equipment and services. The Alpine School District is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to supply new Bernina 335 Sewing machines, Bernina L850 Sergers, and related parts and accessories, while also providing comprehensive service, repair, and training for both new and existing Bernina equipment throughout the district. The RFP encompasses 21 high schools and 15 middle or junior high schools across multiple Utah cities including American Fork, Orem, Eagle Mountain, Saratoga Springs, Lehi, Highland, Lindon, Pleasant Grove, and Alpine. Submissions are due electronically through the Utah Public Procurement Place (UPPP) portal on Monday, April 27, 2026, at 2:00 PM Mountain Time. The resulting contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible vendor with the highest evaluation score and will have an initial term of one year with options to renew for up to four additional years, for a maximum contract duration of five years.

The vendor must guarantee pricing for the initial one-year contract period. Notably, the Alpine School District will be reconfigured into three new school districts (Aspen Peaks, Lake Mountain, and Timpanogos) effective July 1, 2027, and these successor districts will have the opportunity to adopt and extend the contract under the current terms at their discretion. This RFP is anticipated to result in a single contract award to one responsive vendor, with the procurement conducted by the Alpine School District CTE department under authority of the Alpine School District Purchasing office.
