About this file
This document is an Addendum #5 to a Request for Proposals (RFP #6000002311) issued by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey for expert professional executive recruitment services. The RFP seeks a vendor to provide executive recruitment services on a "call-in" basis during the period of 2025 through 2028, with proposals due by 2:00 P.M. on August 28, 2024. The addendum clarifies two key points: first, that proposers should not include extensive comments or redlines on the Authority's standard agreement, and second, that the diversity and veterans categories are broadly defined to include firms with experience placing diverse and veteran candidates at the executive level.
The addendum does not specify pricing, funding sources, or contract value details. The primary focus appears to be on process clarification, specifically around proposal submission guidelines and the interpretation of diversity and veterans categories for potential bidders. Interested parties with questions are directed to contact Ms. Monika Radkowska via email at mradkowska@panynj.gov. The document maintains the original proposal submission date and provides guidance on how proposers should approach exceptions to the standard agreement, emphasizing that only critical exceptions preventing agreement signing will be considered.

SUBJECT: REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR THE PERFORMANCE OF EXPERT
PROFESSIONAL EXECUTIVE RECRUITMENT SERVICES AS
REQUESTED ON A “CALL-IN” BASIS DURING 2025 THROUGH 2028
(RFP# 6000002311) – ADDENDUM #5
Dear Sir or Madam:
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (the Authority) hereby amends the subject Request for Proposals (RFP) as follows:
• In Addendum #3, delete Question and Answer #11 in its entirety and replace with the following:
Question #11: Can the proposer include comments and/or redlines on the Authority’s Standard Agreement?
Answer #11: Please note that the Port Authority typically does not accept exceptions to its standard agreement. We would need to escalate any changes to the legal team and this may delay award of your agreement. Only include exceptions that would prevent you from signing the agreement. The Authority is under no obligation to entertain or accept any such specific exceptions. Exceptions raised at a time subsequent to proposal submission will not be accepted.
The following is a question from a RFP recipient. The question and the corresponding Authority answer is provided for your information and use, as appropriate.
Question #1: For the Diversity category are you looking for evidence of filling leadership roles that support diversity, such as VP of DEI, Sr. Director of Health Equity? For the Veterans category leadership roles that support Veterans such as a VP of Veteran Affairs?
Answer #1: These categories are more generic; a firm with experience placing Veteran candidates or diverse candidates at an executive level can submit for these.
The date for receipt of proposals for the subject RFP remains 2:00 P.M. on August 28, 2024.
