The project encompasses 1.3 miles of roadway improvement beginning at the Burro Creek bridge and ending at a cattle guard near US Highway 93 intersection, with terrain elevations ranging from 1,885 to 2,255 feet. The primary objective is to improve access to Burro Creek Campground facilities while reducing maintenance costs, erosion, and drainage-related issues.

The scope of work includes pavement rehabilitation incorporating Full Depth Reclamation and asphalt concrete pavement with fog seals and tack coats; drainage improvements involving cross culvert installation, headwall reconstruction, ditch grading, berms, bank stabilization, flared end sections, and riprap aprons; earthwork and stabilization activities including embankment benching, slope stabilization, and slope scaling; and safety and traffic control measures such as regulatory and warning signs, pavement markings, and boulder placement. The project is structured with a base Schedule A for primary roadway rehabilitation and an Option X for bridge sedimentation repairs, bridge approach undercutting remediation, and additional boulder placement. Principal work items include 1,600 tons of roadway aggregate, 2,000 linear feet of ditch reconditioning, 1.3 miles of Full Depth Reclamation, and asphalt concrete pavement installation.
