About this file
This set of bridge design drawings and invitation for bid solicitation are for the replacement of the Buffalo Crossing Bridge over the North Fork of the East Fork of the Black River in Greenlee County, Arizona. The solicitation was issued by the Federal Highway Administration and seeks bids to design and construct a new 100-foot long modular steel bridge with structural steel girders, a galvanized steel deck, and a thrie-beam bridge railing. Bids are due by February 21, 2023. The design drawings provide specifications for the construction of new abutments and wingwalls using drilled shafts with reinforced concrete, as well as details for approach roadway work, excavation and structural backfill limits. The bridge superstructure will consist of galvanized steel decking supported by rolled steel girders. Asphalt pavement and a transition railing are also included.
