2 I am not seeing what we are to do in the structural section of the
Subexcavation & Deep Patch Bid Items. It doesn’t show placing & paying for Aggregate Base and Asphalt in those items and summary sheets don’t show any quantities for these materials in those locations either.
Match the pavement structural section as shown in the typical section on sheet A6 and the quantities are paid for and included as shown in the surfacing summary on sheet B5, for the respective station range and pay items.

4 Are we allowed to use the State lands gravel pit on US-40 just east of the Green River Bridge in Jensen, Utah to set an asphalt plant and crush the needed aggregate?
No government furnished material sources were identified/provided for this project. Use of the State lands gravel pit on US-40 would need to be obtained by the contractor from the owner/operator/agency/etc. and materials produced the responsibility of the contractor to meet project specifications. Land not identified in the plans requires owner consent and proof of environmental compliance prior to use during construction and owner acceptance of final (post construction) conditions for contract closeout.
