NOTES:
1. The existing pavement depths are esimated based on pavement reports and recommendations.
2. Match roadway cross slopes and superelevations to existing field conditions.
3. Recondition shoulders according to Subsection 303.04. Place
2 inches of aggregate-topsoil course and apply turf establishment to disturbed areas. Maintain a final shoulder elevation adjacent to the pavement edge, at ½-inch below the finished top edge of pavement. Maximum shoulder rollover is 8 percent for aggregate-topsoil course shoulders.
Round hinge points as directed by the CO.
4. Match ditch widths and grade to drain.
5. Construct pavement transitions according to Detail E401-01.
6. Ensure positive drainage to existing drainage inlets, paved waterways, weep holes, and other drainage features.
7. Protect roadside elements such as manholes, and bridge features (i.e., concrete or timber decks, approach slabs, and concrete backwalls) during all operations with plastic or other protective sheeting as directed by the CO.
8. Locate and protect utilities from damage during construction activities. There are known fiber optic, waterline, sewer, copper telephone line and underground power utilities existing within the project limits.
9. Do not disturb existing concrete curb and sidewalk unless shown otherwise.

NOTES:
