This is Addendum One containing questions and answers for ITB Number 6913 OF issued by the Nebraska AS Materiel State Purchasing Bureau (SPB) for a 53' Expandable Mobile Television Production Trailer with integrated IP routing system, electronics systems installation, and Video/Audio/Signal wiring components. The bid opening is scheduled for September 4, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. Central Time. The addendum includes one vendor question requesting an extension of the proposal due date from September 4th to October 4th, citing the need for additional time to develop system concepts and product selections.
The vendor's request details five key components they wish to include in their proposal: initial pricing for the mobile unit chassis based on provided specifications, fixed pricing for design services, fixed pricing for implementation and training, initial equipment pricing estimates based on RFP specifications, and a preliminary project schedule including equipment transfer timing from the existing truck. No answer to this request is provided in the addendum.

RE: Addendum for Invitation to Bid (ITB) Number 6913 OF for 53’ Expandable Mobile Television
Production Trailer, including a fully integrated IP routing system, electronics systems installation and integration, Video/Audio/Signal wiring, connectors and patch panels To be opened on September 04, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. Central Time
# Question Topic Answer 1 Our concern is that your Proposal due date of
September 4th does not provide sufficient time to develop the initial high level system concepts and product selections required for your new truck. We’d ask you to consider revising your Proposal due date to (at least) Friday, October 4th. This will allow all respondents to develop meaningful Proposal responses with the appropriate consideration needed for this initial round. Moving the Proposal due date out, will enable Vendors to include in our Proposal:
1. Initial price for the mobile unit chassis…based on the specs provided to the manufacturer at this time.
2. Fixed price for design services
3. Fixed price for implementation, commissioning, and training services
4. Initial estimate on the truck’s equipment pricing, based on the initial technical specifications included in your RFP. (This component will be refined following detailed design, based on your team’s directives and approval of final equipment selections).
5. Preliminary project schedule, including the window for transferring and recommissioning equipment from your existing truck to the new mobile unit.
