The addendum includes questions and answers, with the purchaser granting a request to extend the proposal due date from September 4, 2024 to October 4, 2024 in order to allow vendors sufficient time to develop meaningful proposals with appropriate consideration for the initial price, design services, implementation, commissioning and training services, initial equipment pricing estimates, and preliminary project schedule.
The contract is for a one-time commodity purchase, and the State reserves the right to contract for similar goods from other sources in the future. No additional details are provided regarding pricing terms, set asides, incumbents, funding requirements and sources, or other salient information.

RE: Addendum for Invitation to Bid (ITB) Number 6913 OF for 53’ Expandable Mobile Television
Production Trailer, including a fully integrated IP routing system, electronics systems installation and integration, Video/Audio/Signal wiring, connectors and patch panels To be opened on September 04, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. Central Time
# Question Topic Answer 1 Our concern is that your Proposal due date of
September 4th does not provide sufficient time to develop the initial high level system concepts and product selections required for your new truck. We’d ask you to consider revising your Proposal due date to (at least) Friday, October 4th. This will allow all respondents to develop meaningful Proposal responses with the appropriate consideration needed for this initial round. Moving the Proposal due date out, will enable Vendors to include in our Proposal:
1. Initial price for the mobile unit chassis…based on the specs provided to the manufacturer at this time.
2. Fixed price for design services
3. Fixed price for implementation, commissioning, and training services
4. Initial estimate on the truck’s equipment pricing, based on the initial technical specifications included in your RFP. (This component will be refined following detailed design, based on your team’s directives and approval of final equipment selections).
5. Preliminary project schedule, including the window for transferring and recommissioning equipment from your existing truck to the new mobile unit.
