About this file

This document is an Addendum for Request for Proposal (RFP) Number 6790 Z1 issued by the State of Nebraska, Department of Administrative Services (DAS), Materiel Division, State Purchasing Bureau (SPB) for the purpose of selecting a qualified Contractor to provide Eugene T. Mahoney State Park Food and Beverage Service Management, including restaurant and beverage services. The addendum includes questions submitted by bidders and the state's responses, which are to be considered as part of the RFP. The RFP is scheduled to be opened on May 26, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. Central Time. The addendum addresses various aspects of the RFP, such as facility and equipment provisions, the subsidy structure, utility payments, service hours, alcohol licensing, the expected start date, and the contractor's reporting and auditing requirements.

The RFP provides historical revenue information for the restaurant operations, which showed revenues of $506,000 in 2019, $508,730 in 2021, and $310,000 in the first 6 months of 2022. The state will provide a quarterly subsidy to the contractor to cover expenses that exceed potential revenue. The contractor is not responsible for paying rent, royalties, or a percentage of sales to the state, but the contractor's sales may be subject to audit by the state.
