About this file

This document is a comprehensive specification document for a small upgrade project at the Gillette VA Clinic in Wyoming. The project, numbered 666-26-121, involves multiple scope elements including addressing drainage issues, replacing an exterior door and frame, and remodeling casework, finishes, and furnishings in three clinic locations. The construction is to be completed within 45 calendar days from the Full Notice to Proceed, with an potential Administrative Notice to Proceed available for submittal review and material ordering.

The specification provides extensive technical details across multiple divisions, including requirements for architectural, electrical, communications, and structural work. Key components include specifications for concrete, masonry, metals, woods, thermal and moisture protection, doors and frames, finishes, casework, electrical systems, communications infrastructure, and grounding requirements. The document specifies precise technical standards for materials, installation methods, testing protocols, and performance expectations, with a focus on meeting VA construction standards, safety requirements, and healthcare facility design guidelines. Submittals, warranties, and quality assurance are rigorously defined, requiring detailed documentation and compliance with industry standards like TIA, NFPA, and NEC regulations.
