About this file
This is a Construction Scope of Work document prepared by the State of Utah Division of Wildlife Resources for the Turpin and Dour Miller Water Control Structures project at Farmington Bay Waterfowl Management Area. The project requires the provision of one new water control structure and the installation of an existing water control structure at the Farmington Bay WMA located at 1325 W. Glover Lane, Farmington, Utah. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for September 24, 2026, at 10:00 AM, with an anticipated duration of one to three hours. The contract term is up to three months, and the contract will be awarded to the lowest cost responsive and responsible vendor. Vendors must guarantee their pricing for project completion.
The scope of work document outlines the construction specifications and technical requirements for both water control structures. Pricing terms require vendors to submit fixed prices that remain guaranteed throughout the contract period. The project is being procured through an Invitation for Bid (IFB) process conducted by the State of Utah Division of Purchasing and the Division of Wildlife Resources, with the expectation of a single contract award. All interested bidders are required to attend the mandatory site visit to familiarize themselves with project conditions and site-specific requirements before submitting proposals.
