About this file
This is a guidelines document for non-employees issued by the Cherokee County School District (CCSD) in Georgia in conjunction with an HVAC air filter services request for proposal. The document establishes conduct and access protocols for vendors and service providers working within CCSD facilities. The related RFP solicits proposals from qualified air filter companies to provide customized HVAC air filter installation and replacement services district-wide on a quarterly basis. All proposed air filters must meet a rating of Merv 8 or Merv 9. The District will award the contract on an "all or none" basis, meaning a single proposer will be responsible for managing filter change-outs at all CCSD locations. All RFP questions must be submitted through the Euna Procurement Message Center.
The guidelines document specifies that non-employee vendors are restricted to designated areas necessary for their work, must maintain proper conduct in speech and actions, and are authorized to be on school premises only during regular school hours or at pre-arranged times with school administration. Vendors are prohibited from initiating unauthorized contact or conversations with students, from accessing areas where children are present without an employee escort, and from smoking or using offensive language on school premises. These restrictions ensure vendor activities remain limited to their contracted services without disruption to the educational environment or unnecessary student interaction.
