About this file
This document contains terms and conditions related to bonds, subcontractors, and payments for Snow College's swimming pool flooring replacement project in Ephraim, Utah. The project involves the removal and installation of new non-slip flooring around the swimming pool walking areas, encompassing approximately 3,259 square feet. Key scope items include surface preparation, removal of old tile debris, installation of the new non-slip surface, coving installation around the pool perimeter, removal and reinstallation of diving boards, handrails, pole holes, starting blocks, and drain grates. A mandatory walkthrough is scheduled for Monday, August 10, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Horne Activity Center, where vendor representatives must be present to take measurements and review specifications. The floor type will be finalized during the walkthrough and added as an addendum. Vendors must specify their proposed work dates and completion date in their bids, with work to commence as soon as possible.
Bidders are required to submit itemized quotes including materials, tools, travel time, and labor costs. The selected vendor will provide all necessary materials, tools, labor, and equipment to complete the project to specification. The document establishes terms governing bonds, subcontractor usage, and payment procedures for the awarded contractor. Diving boards and handrails must receive new safety inspections with documentation provided upon reinstallation. Vendors are responsible for their own measurements, with project drawings and photographs available in the bid file. The college will not require repairs to the north wall base, as the coving will cover this area. This is a lowest-priced bid procurement with Snow College serving as both the issuing and conducting procurement unit.
