About this file
This document is an equipment specification exhibit for a janitorial services contract opportunity with the City of Dallas, Texas, establishing a sixty-month Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) service agreement with annual pricing periods over five years. The exhibit details the mandatory equipment that contractors must provide and maintain on-site, including cleaning tools, machines, and supplies necessary to perform comprehensive janitorial services. The specified equipment list comprises 43 line items ranging from basic supplies such as brooms, brushes, and mops to specialized machinery including commercial buffers, carpet extractors, shampoo machines, and vacuum cleaners. Minimum quantities vary by item type, with some equipment requiring 60 units on hand annually (wet floor signs) while specialized machines such as the grout cleaner require only a single unit. All equipment must be new, unused, provided with manufacturer manuals, and pre-approved by a City Representative prior to use; any equipment deemed inadequate must be replaced immediately at the contractor's expense.
The contractor bears full responsibility for determining and providing all equipment necessary to perform services as specified, with the City conducting on-site inspections to verify compliance. All equipment must meet or exceed federal, state, and local safety standards and remain clean and in good working order throughout the contract term. Equipment must be of the specified size and type as detailed in the contract specifications, and contractors must ensure safety guards are installed where applicable. The document requires bid submissions to include the contractor's company name and completion of all blank fields, with any incomplete bids considered invalid.
