About this file

This is a Litigation History document related to Broward County's solicitation for Architectural and Engineering Consultant Services in Florida. The County Construction Management Division (CMD) seeks to retain three professional architectural firms licensed under Chapter 481, Florida Statutes to provide architectural and engineering consultant services on a continuing term basis. The scope of work encompasses remodeling, renovation, new construction, and miscellaneous professional services for vertical construction projects. Vendors must submit responses electronically through BPRO by the specified closing date and time, with the County providing a designated period for vendors to submit questions and seek clarification on solicitation requirements. All questions must be submitted through BPRO's messaging system, and the County will respond accordingly through the same platform.

The solicitation is governed by the Consultants' Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA) under Section 287.055, Florida Statutes and utilizes county funding. Vendors must comply with county and state licensing requirements and are subject to the Office of Economic and Small Business Development (OESBD) requirements, including participation in the County Business Enterprise (CBE) Goal program. The document emphasizes that while BPRO identifies certain documents as "optional," all submitted information is relevant to the evaluation process, and vendors are strongly encouraged to provide comprehensive documentation at the time of submittal to facilitate timely and thorough review by the County.
