Question:
Response:
Structural engineer has indicated this does not need to be a strongback stud wall. Please change the wall type from E1 to C6 in these two locations.
Please delete wall type A8. See response to question 3 below.
Please change the wall type on detail E6/A401, D6/A411, and F6/A421; also B4/A304, from A8 to A2 with 6” studs (600S162-54), per the structural drawings.
Question:
Yes, the ACT ceiling in room AO BA 101 should run all the way to the face of the corridor wall.
The mechanical unit shown in Elev Lobby 100 is supposed to be in the wood ceiling. The linked mechanical background is incorrect. Please move it to the corridor E101. This is the same on all three floors in E201 and E301.
The mechanical drawing sheets M101, M111, and M121 show the units in the correct locations.
6. Reference will be modified to 4/S526.
7. Reference will be modified to 10/S526
The structural engineer ran the calculations for the 3 5/8” stud wall and it will work as a strongback at that specific location. Leave the wall type E1s.
A 3 5/8” stud wall will be added to the stud table in 14/S526. The wall on grid +/-7.5 is the one instance of this wall type.
Most of the walls where this wall type is used are shorter than 24” and will likely require cutting of the shaft board. Where a 24” piece can be used, it is acceptable to place the studs on each end (24” o.c.).
Yes.
There is a 6“ stud wall outside the sheathing. This has a ¾” plywood sheathing, with liquid applied AVM. The metal panel will be attached to metal stud wall through the plywood sheathing. At the top, there is a wide stud to go over the top stud at the adjacent walls.
The detail lists the layers

See Attached sketch updates to C5 and C9/A502 and 6/S522
There is no edge detail for the wood slat ceiling. Each slat should be the full 6’ width, with cuts only around the HVAC unit. That being said, cut ends should be clean; sanded and sealed with acrylic sealer and should have a straight edge along the gap, similar to this photo. See attached catalog material.
Yes. This is called out in detail F8/A-504.
