About this file
This document is an Amendment to a Previous Combined Solicitation for generator maintenance services for the Miles City VA Community Living Center. The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO 19) is seeking a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSBC) to perform comprehensive maintenance and load testing for a 375 kW Caterpillar 3412 emergency generator system located in Miles City, Montana. The solicitation (36C25925Q0534) is set aside for SDVOSBC under NAICS code 811310, with proposals due on August 5, 2025, at 2:00 PM Mountain Time.
The amendment updates the Performance Work Statement and Price Schedule, providing specific details about the generator model and testing requirements. The contract will be a firm-fixed price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity arrangement spanning five years from September 1, 2025, to September 1, 2030. Annual maintenance services will be performed each October, with load bank testing ranging from 2-4 hours per year and repairs limited to $2,500 without additional approval. Contractors must demonstrate generator operations experience, electrical safety training, and the capability to provide genuine Caterpillar parts and backup generator services during testing periods.
