We had previously asked this question ( Concerning the ASHE statement in Spec section 01 00 00, Paragraph 1.2, C, we are confirming that we are to follow the guidelines of ASHE, and that we are not to have ASHE certified workers performing the work. ) but wanted to clarify that as this is a new requirement for the VA Albuquerque, will it be sufficient that there are a number of key site personnel to cover the ASHE certified worker (all labor on site) as has been presented in other projects? There is a real cost and time to get everyone tested and this would be a financial inconvenience to the project.

Work shall be performed in accordance with ASHE requirements and protocol. Certifications are not required for all employees. Key personnel are acceptable.
