About this file

This document is an Amendment to a Previous Combined Solicitation containing contractor questions and responses for a federal procurement.

The solicitation (36C25626Q0980) is for Alaris System Maintenance Software for the Alaris Support Program (Alaris Infusion System) required by the South Central VA Health Care Network (VISN 16) located in Ridgeland, Mississippi. The contracting office is the Department of Veterans Affairs Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System Network Contracting Office 16 in Biloxi, Mississippi. The response deadline is August 28, 2026 at 1630 Eastern Time. The product service code is DA10 (Software) with NAICS code 541519. This is an unrestricted solicitation open to all contractors with no set-asides. The contracting officer is C. Robert Oravetz, reachable at christopher.oravetz@va.gov.

The amendment addresses two contractor questions regarding eligibility and authorization requirements. Contractors must provide documentation confirming they are a manufacturer-authorized distributor/seller/provider for the brand-name services and must submit an authorization letter from the OEM confirming authorization to provide the equipment and technical services. Additionally, contractors are required to have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) at the time of quote submission and must provide verification documentation with their response. The government will conduct additional SAM database checks using the contractor's UEI number to verify compliance with these requirements.
