IV. The following Questions and Answers / Clarifications are the result of bidders request(s) for information:

Q71: I have read the answers to questions issued in Amendment 004 and have a one major follow up question

· The lead times for transformers / Panels / Generators and ATSs are especially long right now. How will this be dealt with as the lead times could be longer than the duration of the contract? (360 days)

· Generators are anywhere from 30-40 WEEKS from approved submittal

· Electrical Panels = about 35 WEEKS from approved submittals

· Transformers / ATS’s = 60-90 WEEKS (Over 1 year) from approved submittals.

· Considering the phasing has the new generator being installed first this would make this job impossible to complete within the allotted contract duration (360 days). Please advise how this will be dealt with.

A71: See attached updated SOW.

Q72: In the electrical industry, as in all construction, there are very long procurement times for equipment. What remedies do we have with the contract length if procurement times take most of the construction time set aside for this project?

A72: See attached updated SOW.

Q73: Amendment 005 noted that “additional VA response are forthcoming”? With the Current bid date being 10/20/22 (2 days away) We have not seen any added responses. Are these still forthcoming? And will the Bid date remain or be extended? Please advise, and Thank you for your time and response.

A73: VA responses which were forthcoming from Amendment 0005 are Q71/A71 and Q72/A72 above along with the attached updated SOW. The virtual bid opening has been extended via this amendment to October 27, 2022. See additional information below.
