About this file
This is Amendment 0006 to a Request for Lease Proposal (RLP) issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Regional Procurement Office West for RLP No. 36C24W26R0055.
The amendment provides clarification regarding ANSI/BOMA Occupant Area (ABOA) standards for calculating space measurements in single occupancy offered spaces. VA is excluding code-required and public restrooms and vestibules from ABOA square footage calculations within the Space Planning Entry System (SEPS) used to create the Program for Design (PFD – Revised EXHIBIT R). Specifically excluded areas include common areas and circulation (vestibules, stairways, elevator lobbies, shared corridors and lobbies), public toilets and nursing rooms, building equipment and mechanical/electrical rooms, housekeeping closets, fire riser and plumbing rooms, building storage rooms, medical gas rooms, and data/communications rooms. The Government seeks existing offered space not to exceed 15,719 ABOA square feet, with a revised EXHIBIT R – PFD uploaded for offeror review. The area will be calculated using Method A – Multiple Load Factor Method per ANSI/BOMA Z65.1-2017 or IFMA/ASTM E1836-01 standards. The RLP package submission deadline is Friday, November 20, 2026, at 3:00 PM CST. The amendment was signed by Robert Garcia, Jr., Lease Contracting Officer, and is effective November 3, 2026.
