About this file
This is a Contractor Certification of Immigration form (Attachment D.2) for federal contract 36C24926R0040 with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
The certification requires contractors to comply with all provisions of the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952, as amended, and related immigration laws enforced by Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and the U.S. Department of Labor. Contractors must not knowingly employ, contract, or subcontract with illegal aliens or foreign nationals whose non-immigrant status is in violation. The contractor is obligated to comply with E-Verify requirements under Executive Order 12989 and applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations. Non-compliance may result in the Department of Veterans Affairs prohibiting the non-compliant foreign national from working at contractor facilities serving VA patient referrals or providing veteran services, and such violations may form the basis for contract termination. Contractors are required to obtain similar certifications from their subcontractors. The form includes signature, date, typed name and title, and company name fields, and includes a statement that false or fraudulent certification is subject to prosecution under 18 U.S.C. 1001.
