This document is an Addendum 2 to Section 01 11 00 Summary of Work for a roof replacement project at the VA Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System (VHCS) East Campus in Tuskegee, Alabama. The project involves comprehensive roof replacement and associated work for Buildings 4 and 90, specifically including removing existing roofing materials, performing asbestos testing, installing new roof systems with various membrane types (including 80-mil and 60-mil TPO), adding fall protection systems, and replacing mechanical components.

The project includes multiple roof areas with varying specifications, such as removing single-ply and modified bitumen membranes, installing new insulation (R-30 and R-25 options), preparing substrates, and adding new metal flashings, drain systems, and ventilation components. The document provides detailed deductive alternate options for membrane thickness and insulation values, and specifies requirements for roof areas including deck preparation, membrane installation, and additional components like solar attic fans and window system treatments. The total roof area covers approximately 46,000 square feet across multiple roof sections, with specific requirements for each area's unique characteristics.
