The lug for the concrete block should be deleted and the slab poured continuous to the outside face of the foundation wall. This also applies to Wall Section D4 on Sheet A3.21. Refer to attached revised structural Detail D8. |
| Well Section H8 on Sheet A3.22 should also delete the concrete block shown on the foundation wall. The floor slab and foundation wall should be poured out to the face of the concrete block wall above. The intent of this Wall Section is to show the finish applied to the foundation wall at this location. The basis of design for the retaining wall is the Versa-Lok System. When the retaining wall returns to the building foundation, a portion of the foundation wall is exposed concrete. See Elevation B9 on Sheet A2.11. The textured face of a Versa-Lok unit can be split off to form a 2”+/- unit which will be mortared to the face of the foundation wall. This will provide a finish on the foundation wall that will match the Versa-Lok Retaining Wall System.
