Erie VAMC
Questions and Answers
Number Vendor Question Government Response
1 We would like to know if this is a brand new contract OR if there is (was) an incumbent performing these services.
If not brand new, could you please provide the current / previous contract number?
The request for Lease Proposal/Solicitation is open to all Offerors that can meet the requirements as stated in the RLP
2 Will a market survey tour still be conducted as part of the process and would we receive formal feedback?
The Government will conduct market survey after offers are received
3 I also wanted to ask whether the VA would consider lease terms of 15 to 20 years, as the notice currently states a 10-year firm term.
This Lease is for a 10 year firm term. A greater than 10 year firm term will not be considered at this time.
It will be in the Offeror’s best interest to provide a proposal for the term indicated in the RLP. If you feel it would give you a better position, you can offer an additional proposal with different terms.
4 Can you please confirm that the site falls within the delineated area
The site seems to be abounding delineated area.
5 Is there a pre=bid meeting scheduled? I can’t seem to find any reference in the RLP file. Am I missing it?
See RLP Amendment 0001 for Pre-Proposal information
6 Is the VA considering both existing buildings and/or new construction (build to suit) for this solicitation?
See RLP Amendment 0001. The Government considers existing building and new construction.
All offers must be received by date listed in RLP to be considered for award.
