Questions and Answers
Number Vendor Question Government Response
1 Could you provide any feedback on the sites submitted?
The Government did not conduct a pre-solicitation market survey for this acquisition. The VA will conduct market surveys with offerors in the competitive range.
2 I don't see any existing office bldg in the delineated area that meets 20k rsf. Would GSA consider build-to-suit since there's some time till sept 2025 occupancy?
Please see RLP Section 1.02.
3 Would it be possible for the government to consider a sublease option for the aforementioned contract opportunity? We operate with a flexible workspace model and are interested to know if this is an arrangement that could be accommodated within the government's leasing framework for this contract.
Could you kindly clarify whether a sublease option is or could be part of the terms? If subleasing is an option, are there any specific requirements or limitations that we should be aware of while preparing our application
Upon receipt of proposals, the ownership or documentation showing control of the building goes through legal and technical review. If control of the building is considered legally sufficient to fulfill the VA’s requirements, award may be made to other than the owner.
4 We would like to know if this is a brand new contract OR if there is (was) an incumbent performing these services f not brand new, could you please provide the current / previous contract number?
The Request for Lease Proposal/Solicitation is opened to all offerors that can meet the requirements as stated in the RLP.
All offers must be received by date listed in RLP to be considered for award.
