About this file

This document contains an amendment to a federal solicitation for construction services. The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking proposals to expand the Miramar National Cemetery in San Diego, California. The amendment provides responses to offeror questions, additional drawings and documents, and revises the past performance questionnaire. Proposals are due by June 21, 2021. Anticipated award is in early September 2021 with a notice to proceed approximately 12 days later. The amendment advises offerors that excavated on-site soils may be suitable for use as fill. A 2009 geotechnical report is referenced but offerors are instructed to verify site conditions. Memorial walkway extension and landscaping/irrigation work are within scope. Minor construction underway is projected to finish in late October 2021 prior to notice to proceed.
