About this file

This addendum constitutes a Material Change to Request for Proposals 26-002-G issued by the Eugene Water & Electric Board (EWEB) for replacement of Pump #5 and its motor at the Hayden Bridge Raw Water Intake Facility in Springfield, Oregon. The addendum addresses bidder inquiries regarding pump performance specifications and clarifies that EWEB does not possess pump curves for the existing 800 horsepower, 14,000 gallons per minute equipment installed in 1975. Proposers must design solutions meeting the performance requirements of rated head and flow as specified in the RFP rather than attempting to match existing pump curves. The closing date and time for proposal submission remain unchanged at April 23, 2026, at 2:00 PM PT. Receipt of this addendum must be acknowledged by the proposer through signature and return of a copy with the proposal submission or by circling the addendum number on the proposal form.

This addendum was prepared by Tim Rogers, Purchasing Analyst with the EWEB Purchasing Office, on April 3, 2026. No pricing terms, set-asides, incumbent information, or funding sources are addressed within this addendum document. The addendum serves to clarify technical specifications and does not modify evaluation criteria, insurance requirements, delivery timelines extending through December 31, 2026, or liquidated damages provisions of $500 per day for schedule delays specified in the original RFP.
