About this file

This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a general building painting and flooring project dated July 17, 2024 (Project #25MO16CN, MAXIMO #5422382). The contractor must provide all materials, labor, equipment, and supervision for painting and flooring work across 12 military buildings located at what appears to be a military installation.

Painting requirements include surface repair and preparation (cracks, holes, mold treatment), application of primers and finish coats in specified colors and sheens (eggshell, semi-gloss, high-gloss, and polyurethane finishes as applicable), repainting of metal surfaces, wood trim, interior walls, exterior masonry, bathroom areas, and exposed piping. The contractor must match existing colors unless otherwise specified, remove and reinstall electrical/data switch covers, paint over existing stenciled signage and replace with new stencils, and clean all over-spray and debris. Lead paint present is to be scraped and encapsulated only—not fully abated. Flooring work includes removal of existing carpet and vinyl cove base in specified rooms, concrete sealing and preparation, and installation of new carpet tiles (Tarkett Abrasive Action Winter Gray 19103 or Tarkett Crafted Plank Provence PECF2131) and vinyl cove base; engine dyno bays require non-skid epoxy flooring installation. Specific paint colors are mandated for each building (PPG, Sherwin Williams brands specified). Work is subject to special scheduling with approximately one-quarter of work areas available at any given time; the contractor must coordinate with identified points of contact for each building. Submittals must include manufacturer's product specifications and technical data provided on two CDs/DVDs marked "Complete Submittal Package" with contract numbers. A hazardous materials plan must be submitted for all lead work.
