About this file
This document is an M15 Attachment specifying Above Ground Storage Tank Inspection Criteria. The attachment outlines two primary inspection requirements: monthly visual inspections and tri-annual integrity testing. Monthly in-house visual inspections must be conducted and documented, focusing on detecting signs of leaks, stress fractures, stressed vegetation, and visible water in the secondary containment area, including a routine walk-around of the container's supports and foundations.
Tri-annually, a qualified third-party licensed inspection company must conduct integrity testing on above ground fuel storage tanks with a capacity of 55 gallons or more. The submittal must include a copy of the integrity test inspection and a report showing pass/fail status, along with a detailed write-up of any concerns or weaknesses. All findings are to be logged in the FST Management Plan and uploaded into NCMMS (presumably a management system) for record-keeping and tracking.
