Additional specialized coverage may be required depending on work scope, including watercraft, longshoreman's and harborworker's coverage, maritime (Jones Act), aircraft liability at $5,000,000 if applicable, pollution, professional liability, liquor liability at $1,000,000 per occurrence, property insurance, cyber liability, and technology errors and omissions. Vendors must submit a bid bond equal to 5 percent of the cost proposal with their initial proposal. All certificates of insurance must name Collier County Board of County Commissioners as an additional insured, with the county's address listed as 3295 Tamiami Trail East, Naples, Florida 34112, and must reference the contract or project number. Insurance coverage must be primary and non-contributory, with 30 days cancellation notice required. Vendors must ensure all subcontractors comply with identical insurance requirements and provide certificates of insurance. Collier County will procure Builders Risk Insurance on construction projects where deemed necessary, with premiums billed to the project rather than included in vendor proposals. All vendors accepting the bid acknowledge understanding these insurance requirements and agree to maintain coverages throughout the agreement duration, with evidence of insurability potentially required within five days of recommended award notification.
