About this file

This is a Fee Schedule Resolution (2026-15) adopted by the City of Palm Bay, Brevard County, Florida, establishing rates, charges, and fees for the Recreation Department for Fiscal Year 2026-2027, effective October 1, 2026. The schedule covers membership fees for community centers, facility rentals, equipment rentals, and recreational programs. Community center annual memberships range from $45 for minors and seniors to $75 for adults, with family memberships at $160 for up to five household members. Facility rental fees include gymnasium rentals ($35–$70 per hour depending on day and size), banquet rooms ($15–$50 per hour), pavilions ($25–$105 per day), ballfields ($15 per hour plus $30 per hour for lights), and outdoor courts ($5 per hour). The aquatic center offers general admission at $4 per day, seasonal passes at $125, and pool rentals ranging from $40–$90 per hour depending on season and size.

Pricing reflects modest increases in certain categories compared to FY 2026, including day camp fees (increased from $90 to $110 weekly) and security damage deposits for various facilities (increased from $100–$200 to $200–$300). The schedule provides discount categories offering 25 percent reductions for nonprofit organizations and city employees and 50 percent discounts for community partners, with direct costs and employee fees charged at full rates. Rental cancellation policies allow full refunds for cancellations made 31 or more days in advance, declining to no refund for cancellations within seven days. All credit card payments incur a 2.65 percent processing fee. The Recreation Director retains authority to adjust certain fees, including class fees, tournament fees based on tourism impact, and special event fees, and has discretion to waive administrative and refund fees for special circumstances.
