About this file

This is a Request for Solutions scope document issued by the City of Palm Bay, Florida, seeking operational models and partnerships for its aquatic facilities and programs. The City is pursuing cost-effective and sustainable solutions that will allow aquatic recreation opportunities to continue for residents and visitors while minimizing or eliminating financial impact to the municipality. The scope indicates that a formal Request for Proposals will be issued as the procurement process progresses, ultimately resulting in a competitively selected contract with a solution provider. Prospective vendors must register with the City's Bonfire technology platform at https://palmbayflorida.bonfirehub.com/portal to receive bid notifications and access solicitation documents. Additional inquiries may be submitted through Bonfire's messaging system.

No specific pricing terms, response deadlines, site visit requirements, bidders' conferences, award dates, or contract terms are detailed in this preliminary scope document. The document serves as a notice of intent and an invitation for prospective solution providers to register for future solicitation updates. This appears to be an early-stage procurement process designed to generate interest and gather information from qualified vendors before formal proposal requirements are established.

Text version

The City of Palm Bay seeks to maintain and enhance aquatic recreation opportunities for residents and visitors while minimizing or eliminating financial impact to the City. The challenge is to identify cost-effective and sustainable operational models or partnerships that allow aquatic facilities and programs to continue while optimizing the use of a public facility.

As our effort to find a workable solution progresses, it is likely that we will issue a formal request for proposals on our way to an eventual contract with a competitively selected solution provider.

The City of Palm Bay utilizes a technology platform called Bonfire to manage bid solicitations, contract administration, and vendor relations.

Bonfire provides a free online portal where vendors can register to receive email notifications and access solicitation documents from the City of Palm Bay relevant to this project.

To receive bid notifications via email and access solicitation documents, prospective solutions providers must register with the Bonfire system at https://palmbayflorida.bonfirehub.com/portal.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact via Bonfire’s Message option.
