Responses to questions for Solicitation 2031ZA25Q00077 – Warehouse Transportation Equipment

1. The 78” high door will be too small for a stand-up forklift to clear. A 6-foot-tall operator needs to step up into the compartment and have an overhead guard above to protect them from falling objects. 83” is as low as we go. Would you care to substitute another sit-down unit or is 83” acceptable. 83” is acceptable but must be adjustable

2. How high do the forklifts need to be able to raise their forks? At least 5 feet

3. How long should the forks be on the forklifts? (pallet jacks list their sizes).

4,000 LB. Capacity, 3-Wheel, Sit-Down Counterbalanced Truck shall be 42”

3,000 LB. Capacity, Three-Wheel Stand-up Counterbalanced Truck shall be 48”

4. Do you want a battery charger for each lift? YES

5. Do you require any additional equipment?

a. Side shifter (hydraulically moves the fork carriage left and right simultaneously). YES, for the following only:

4,0000 LB. Capacity, 3-Wheel, Sit-Down Counterbalanced Truck

3,000 LB. Capacity, Three-Wheel Stand-up Counterbalanced Truck

b. Strobe, back-up alarm, fire extinguisher, mirrors, non-marking tires, etc.

Vendor may provide pricing for all of these accessories although not required

6. The delivery time will exceed 90 days on the stand-up lift (if 83” is OK) and walk behind reach.

Will that exclude me, or is that OK?

As our requirements do indicate 90 days after, we anticipate awarding to the lowest, technically acceptable responsible vendor that best meets all of our requirements.

7. Please advise what is the required forklifting height for the:

a. 3-wheel sit-down, 4K capacity forklift truck? At least 5 feet

b. 3-wheel stand-up, 3K capacity forklift truck? At least 5 feet

8. Is there a more detailed scope of work (SOW)/ specifications to describe the features required for this equipment (like your previous RFQ #2031ZA21Q00064?)? No, all specifications for this requirement are listed in SOW

9. Can you please provide information/ make, model, price – to whom did the award go to for your

RFQ ##2031ZA21Q00064?

Technology International under Purchase Order #2031ZA21P00495. Please refer to 2031ZA21P00495 for additional information.
