About this file

This document is Addendum #1 for the Oregon Buys Project #S-R14210-00013813 "Parking Lot Installation" issued by the Port of Hood River on May 28, 2025. The addendum addresses questions raised during the pre-bid walkthrough on May 23, 2025, providing clarifications on various project components including U Bike Racks, Wheel Stops, Pedestrian Scale Bollard Lights, Area Lights, Street Lights, Shrubs, and Trees. Key details include specifications for bike rack finishes (glossy black or stainless steel), surface mounting requirements, concrete pad dimensions, wheel stop materials and mounting, and lighting configurations. The document confirms that pedestrian scale bollard lights will be solar-powered, street lights will be city-owned and maintained by Pacific Power, and landscaping cannot be delayed beyond the current project timeline.

The addendum provides additional insights into the project's implementation, including the process for street light procurement and installation, which involves the city ordering lights, receiving an invoice, paying Pacific Power, and then having the lights installed. For landscaping, the city indicates a preference for specific tree species like Douglas Fir or Western Red Cedar, with a requirement that any alternative species must be submitted for approval. A note mentions the addition of a Bid Bond form to version 2 of the Invitation to Bid (ITB) document. The document is signed by Kevin Greenwood, Executive Director of the Port of Hood River, and provides contact information for potential bidders seeking further clarification.
