About this file
This document is a Scope of Work (Attachment 2) for a city's minor repairs program contract, outlining services to be provided by a contractor on an "as-needed" basis. The services include a comprehensive range of home maintenance and repair tasks such as swamp cooler maintenance, security enhancements (motion lights, dead bolts, window locks), safety device installations (smoke and CO detectors), and various plumbing, structural, and landscaping repairs. The contractor is required to provide skilled personnel capable of performing these diverse maintenance tasks efficiently and professionally.
The contractor must warrant that all products used conform to specified requirements and are of good merchantable quality. Additionally, the contractor provides a one-year warranty on all completed work, with the warranty period starting from the date of final payment. The contract emphasizes the importance of personnel conduct and competence, requiring that all workers be skilled in their assigned tasks and maintain appropriate behavior while on the premises. The scope of work is flexible, designed to address minor repair needs as they arise, suggesting an on-call, responsive service model for the city's maintenance requirements.
