About this file

This Scope of Work document outlines garbage and waste disposal services for Box Elder County School District in Utah, covering north-end and south-end school locations. The District currently operates 24 buildings serviced by two separate vendors and seeks consolidated waste removal services including solid domestic garbage, industrial waste material, and food waste. Services must accommodate multiple container sizes (350-gallon, 8-yard, and roll-off containers) with flexible pickup schedules ranging from weekly to monthly on a recurring basis. Vendors must maintain collection site areas, ensure proper waste disposal, comply with Federal and State regulations, provide emergency service notification, and repair locking devices within 24 hours of notice. The solicitation requires submission of five hard copies to Box Elder School District, Facilities Department, 960 South Main Street, Brigham City, UT 84302, by 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 17, 2026. Questions must be submitted in writing to Corey Thompson at corey.thompson@besd.net by the deadline of Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.

Pricing is structured as a percent discount applied to all services, with the discount remaining fixed for the contract's entire duration while price lists may be updated after 12 months. Vendors may not charge fees beyond those listed on the Cost Sheet, and the District does not guarantee any minimum purchase volume. The contract accommodates reduced summer pickup schedules as requested by the District, and eligible users retain the right to adjust container sizes at any time. Vendors must establish clear communication protocols for scheduled pickups, emergency requests, bin adjustments, and equipment support, with compliance required for any restricted access areas due to school campus security requirements.
