About this file
This is an Organizational Chart Attachment (Attachment B1) for a Design-Build Service Request for Proposals issued by the City of Detroit Office of Contracting and Procurement on behalf of the Detroit Demolition Department. The RFP seeks qualified respondents to provide construction services at firehouse locations throughout Detroit for a two-year contract term. Respondents are required to submit organizational charts in portable document format (.pdf) that accurately reflect the office or unit responsible for delivering services under this contract. If a respondent operates multiple offices or units across different regions or states, only the organizational chart(s) for the specific office(s) or unit(s) providing services to this contract need be submitted. The chart must clearly identify any vacant or unstaffed positions within the proposed service delivery structure.
Respondents with multiple positions of the same job title are permitted to consolidate their organizational chart presentation by listing the position title along with the total number of positions and the number of vacant positions, rather than listing individual staff members. For example, a respondent may indicate "Service Technician – X 12, 1 vacancy" to show twelve total positions with one currently unfilled. This streamlined approach allows respondents to present complex organizational structures efficiently while maintaining transparency regarding staffing levels and vacancies. Respondents must submit their organizational charts prior to the deadline specified in the RFP and are encouraged to seek clarification on attachment requirements before the submission deadline.

ORGANIZATIONAL CHART
Please thoroughly read the following instructions and notices before completing this attachment. Interested vendors must ask any questions related to this attachment prior to the deadline identified in this RFP.
Instructions & Notices
The Respondent must provide an organizational chart for the business in a portable document format (.pdf).
If the business entity includes multiple offices/units across several regions/states/countries, the Respondent only needs to submit (an) organizational chart(s) for the office(s)/unit(s) that may provide services under this contract.
For example, 123 CONSTRUCTION Services solely operates in the State of Michigan. 123 CONSTRUCTION Services has offices in Detroit, Lansing, Grand Rapids, and Traverse City. However, 123 CONSTRUCTION Services only expects staff from the Detroit office to provide services under this contract. So, 123 CONSTRUCTION Services will only need to provide an organizational chart for the Detroit Office.
The Respondent must clearly indicate those positions (if any) in the organizational chart that are vacant/unstaffed.
If a Respondent has multiple positions of the same job title in the organizational tree, the Respondent is NOT required to list all the staff persons under that title. The Respondent may simply list the job/position title and the number of positions under that title. However, the Respondent must indicate the number of vacant positions under that title.
For example, 123 CONSTRUCTION Services has four Supervisory Technicians who each manage three Service Technicians and their Apprentices. One Service Technician position is vacant and two Apprentice positions are vacant. Therefore, 123 CONSTRUCTION Services may present that portion of their organizational chart as follows:
Supervisory Technician – X 4
Service Technician – X 12, 1 vacancy
Apprentice – X 12, 2 vacancies
