About this file
This is a Building Energy Performance and Green Globes® Certification and Commitment form for a federal lease solicitation (RLP No. 36C10F26R0024) for facility space in South Palm Beach County, Florida.
The form requires lessors to certify compliance with federal energy efficiency standards and commit to obtaining Green Globes® certification. Lessors must select whether their offer involves new construction specifically built for the Government or is for existing space. For new construction offers, lessors certify that energy performance will fully satisfy all applicable Federal energy efficiency requirements established in 10 CFR Part 433 and commit to obtaining Two Green Globes® certification from the Green Building Initiative within 12 months of occupancy. Lessors must provide the Government with two electronic copies of all Green Globes® documentation in Adobe PDF format and grant viewing access to the online surveys during design and throughout the lease term. If the lessor fails to achieve Two Green Globes® certification within the first year of occupancy, the Government may implement a corrective action program and deduct associated costs, including administrative expenses, from rent consistent with lease terms. By signature, the offeror certifies the statements are complete and accurate with no additional conditions or exceptions applying to energy performance and Green Globes® commitments.
