About this file

The document is an FBI Form FD-967 for New Agent Physical Activities, dated 09/15/2023, designed to assess a potential agent's physical capabilities for training. The form details eight critical physical activity categories that new FBI agent trainees must be able to perform, including control techniques (subject takedown), personal weapon attacks, officer survival techniques, carotid restraint, handcuffing, break falls and shoulder rolls, a BFTC (Basic Field Training Course) challenge and competition, and firearms qualification. These activities require extensive physical skills such as grappling, full-contact boxing, weapons disarming, high-obstacle jumping, running 7.2 miles, and shooting from various positions. The form is intended to be completed by a medical provider who will verify the applicant's physical fitness for these demanding training requirements and must comment on any activities the applicant cannot perform.
