About this file
This federal contract opportunity solicitation is for the rehabilitation of the Hurricane Ridge Day Lodge located within Olympic National Park. The Department of the Interior National Park Service is seeking bids to rehabilitate the lodge, originally built in 1952, to improve electrical, plumbing, fire detection and notification systems, elevators, roofing, windows, doors, exterior walls, flooring, and interior walls. Restrooms, interior and exterior access routes, and parking will be upgraded for ADA compliance. Concrete work and modification of restrooms will provide two accessible restrooms. Heating, ventilation and an underground fuel storage system will be renewed. The project will bring the facility up to current structural, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, fire, and accessibility codes while resolving air and water penetration issues. Critical safety and visitor experience systems will be modernized.
