QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

1. Question: There should be zone reports for each of the intrusion and fire panels, cameras and Access control to which those reports can be generated by pulling data from the head end on each.

Answer: Unfortunately this information is not included in the condition assessment reports. Due to the concerns from multiple contractors regarding lack of information for the IDS, we will remove IDS work from the scope of this project.

2. Question: The information in "Attachment 1 Required Maintenance Repair Work Summary" lacks details needed to accurately estimate the work.

Answer: Please see updated Attachment 1 file for additional information regarding camera mounting conditions. Camera mounting conditions are inferred based on the recommended locations and camera types in the condition assessment reports and are not explicitly stated in the reports.

3. Question: Are Site Visits available?.

Answer: Our available funding does not allow for an initial round of preliminary site visits to most or all the sites. Due to the diverse range of work required for each site, Site Visits will not be available.

CA?

Answer: Yes, contractor must be a licensed electrical contractor in the state of California.

5. Question: Will technicians need to be CA journeymen or equivalent?

Answer: Yes, technicians must be CA journeymen or equivalent.
