About this file
This is a Minimum Insurance Requirements Form for a Public Relations Services contract between Broward County and the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau (GFLCVB/Visit Lauderdale). The scope of work encompasses creative strategic planning development, media relations management, press trip organization, media missions, and promotional activities. The contract requires vendors to submit responses electronically through BPRO by specified closing dates and times, with all questions or clarification requests submitted through BPRO by the designated questions due date. No specific contract term, renewal options, or award dates are detailed in this insurance requirements document.
The insurance requirements establish mandatory coverage levels with General Liability coverage at $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate, Auto Liability at $500,000 combined bodily injury and property damage (waivable if no driving is required), Professional Liability/Media Liability at $1,000,000 per claim with a $2,000,000 aggregate, and Workers' Compensation at statutory limits for on-site service providers. Broward County must be named as additional insured with primary coverage, and vendors must provide 30 days' written notice of cancellation or 10 days' notice for non-payment. For Claims-Made policies, insurance evidence must be maintained for three years after contract completion. The maximum deductible for Professional Liability and Cyber Liability is $100,000. Excess Liability/Umbrella coverage may supplement minimum requirements, and a Waiver of Subrogation applies in favor of Broward County.
