Summary of Attachment 3 - Specifications.pdf

This file is a specifications document for the Building 215 Clean Room HEPA Filter Replacement project at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The specifications detail the technical requirements for replacing HEPA filters in a clean room facility, establishing the performance standards, materials, installation procedures, and quality assurance criteria that qualified small business contractors must meet to be considered for award.

The document provides engineering specifications governing filter type, dimensions, efficiency ratings, frame construction, and installation methodologies required to maintain the clean room's environmental controls and operational integrity. Contractors must comply with all specified technical requirements and industry standards referenced within the document. This small business set-aside acquisition requires submission of proposals that demonstrate capability to meet these detailed technical specifications. A mandatory pre-proposal site visit is scheduled for Monday, June 15, 2026, at 9:00 AM EST, with advance registration required. Per FAR 19.502-10, if the small business set-aside is not awarded, the determination shall be automatically dissolved for any unawarded portion.
